Japan Arts Will be undertaking the management in Japan of conductor Kazuki Yamada.
We are pleased to announce that Japan Arts will be undertaking the management in Japan of conductor Kazuki Yamada.
Kazuki Yamada began his international conducting career after winning First Prize in the 2009 International Besancon Competition for Young Conductors, and since then he has been greatly expanding the scope of his activities. Along with his post as principal guest conductor of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, he will assume the post of artistic director of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra in September 2016.
His highly successful 2014 Japan tour as principal guest conductor with the distinguished Orchestra de la Suisse Romande remains fresh in audiences’ memories.
Yamada has also conducted many concerts in Japan, as permanent conductor of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, music director of the Philharmonic Chorus of Tokyo, and others. In our support of Kazuki Yamada’s work, we at Japan Arts will aim to develop his activities both in Japan and throughout the world in an even more organic way.
On May 26, 2016, Yamada made a successful debut performance with the Staatskapelle Dresden. Starting on June 22 of this year, he will tour Japan with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
