Keitaro Harada assume the post of Associate Conductor of Tokyo Symphony Orchestra!

We are pleased to announce that conductor Keitaro Harada will assume the post of Associate Conductor of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra for the three-year term from April 1, 2021 to the end of March 2024.
Since his first appearance on Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in November 2016, Mr. Harada has collaborated with them in a wide range of programs.
In March and June of 2020, he appeared in the video broadcast (without audience) called “Tokyo Symphony Orchestra – Live from Muza!” In addition to his conducting, he also received praise for his easy-to-understand commentary and guidance for viewers.
At his inaugural concert in April 2021, Mr. Harada will conduct Shostakovich Symphony No. 10 and other works.
From the 2020 season, he also assumed the post of Musical and Artistic Director of the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra in Georgia, U.S.A.
Mr. Harada has been carrying out a remarkable career throughout the world. His future activities will be the focus of much attention.
