*To order from the call center, you must be able to provide a mailing address in Japan or pick up the tickets at a convenience store in Japan.

*Anyone can order by e-mail by filling in the required items on the specified form.
*Credit card payment is required. Tickets will be picked up at the venue on the day of the performance. The same-day pick-up counter opens 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
*Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than processing this ticket order.

Reservations for student tickets at half price each rank can be made from July. 1 (10a.m.) if seats are available the day before.
Qualified Students: Students below age 25 only.
Please present your student ID at the door on the day of the concert.
(Those without a student ID may be asked to pay the balance of the regular ticket price.)

1. Programs etc. are subject to change in case of unavoidable circumstances.
2. Purchased tickets may not be canceled or changed, except when the performance is canceled.
3. Tickets will not be reissued under any circumstances. Please take care not to lose your tickets.
4. Preschool children will not be admitted. In the case of ballet performances, children 4 years old and over will be admitted.
5. One ticket per person is required for admission to the venue.
6. All seats are reserved. Please be seated in your designated seat.

8. Resale of tickets through internet auction sites etc. is not permitted, as problems can result.

Shinobu Sato, soprano
Shinobu SATO made her debut in Europe in title role of Tosca at the Bratislava Festival on occasion of 80th anniversary of National Administration of Slovakia in 1988. Since her sensational appearance on the European stage, she has continued to sing, the title roles of Tosca and Madame Butterfly among many others. In particular, her appearance as Micaela in Carmen at the Wiener Staatsoper in 1993 was extremely well received. Likewise, her Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with the Symphony Orchestra of the Bavarian Broadcast under Sir Colin Davis (1991) as well as Mozart with Symphony Orchestra of the Radio Berlin under Hans Martin-Schneit were also highly acclaimed . She was a soloist for Verdi’s Requiem with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Madame Butterfly with Victoria State Opera, which she performed with Jose Cura (1996). In November 1998, She sang Madame Butterfly at the Wiener Staatsoper making her title role debut at this prestigious opera house. She also has sung the same role at Oper der Stadt Koern (1999), Deutch Oper Berlin (2000) and Den Norske Opera (2002). In 2001, she sang Vier letzte Lieder with Berlin Symphony Orchestra under Eliahu Inbal (Berlin and Tokyo) and in 2002, Judith of Duke Blue beard’s Castle with Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra under Zoltan Kocsis in Tokyo.
In the 2003 season of New National Theatre in Tokyo, she sang Giulietta of Les contes d’Hoffmann , and in the 2004, she has appeared as Lulu.
Among the numerous recitals and appearance with orchestras, highlights of her recent activities were Desdemona in Otello with Sofia National Opera (Sofia and Japan, 2005) and Jr. Butterfly (Naomi, Composed by Shigeaki Saegusa, premiered both in Japan and Luca, 2006)
She enjoys the utmost confidence of such conductors as Christoph Eschenbach, Seiji Ozawa, Eliahu Inbal, Simone Young .
Thus far she has won the Japan Cultural Broadcasting Music Award, the Metropolitan Cultural Honor Award, the Giraud Grand Opera Prize, the Mademoiselle Perfume Prize among others.
Yasuo Horiuchi, baritone
A winner of the international vocal competitions (Toulouse, F. Viñas, G. Verdi), Yasuo Horiuchi studied at Conservatorio “GiuseppeVerdi” di Milano.
Since 1994 he has appeared in principal theatres throughout Europe and Japan, including Gran Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Busseto Verdi Festival, Hungarian State Opera, Teatro Nacional de São Carlos de Lisbon, Malmö Musik Theatre Sweden, ABAO (Spain Bilbao Opera), Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, New National Theatre Tokyo, and Biwako Hall.
He made his debut in Japan as Germont under Kazushi Ono with Tokyo Philharmonic alongside Angela Gheorghiu in 1997 and since then has been a member of Fujiwara Opera Company.
Last year he made his debut at Teatro Verdi di Trieste as Gianciotto in Francesca Da Rimini with the direction of Giancarlo Del Monaco and he performed Conte di Luna in Trovatore at The National Concert Hall of Dublin.
