koncertní turné po Japonsku, v rámci něhož vystoupil, mimo jiné, ve světoznámé Suntory Hall v Tokyu.
Koncerty Sukova komorního orchestru jsou zařazovány do abonentních cyklů a programů významných festivalů v České republice, Evropě i zámoří. Od roku 1996 pořádal orchestr mezinárodní festival komorní hudby ?Hudební klenoty z Prahy Evropou do světa“, jehož jubilejní a zároveň závěrečný 10. ročník se uskutečnil v červnu 2006. Od r. 2008 obnovuje SKO vlastní abonentní koncertní řadu.
Orchestr doposud nahrál a vydal více než 40 CD se skladbami širokého spektra hudebních stylů. Posledním nosičem, vydaným v září 2008, je CD s nahrávkou komorního díla Zdeňka Lukáše.
V roce 2002 byla Sukovu komornímu orchestru udělena prestižní ?Světová cena Antonína Dvořáka“ za šíření ve světě pověstné tradice českého interpretačního umění, za nahrávky zvukových nosičů a dlouholetou reprezentaci České republiky v zahraničí.

→ was founded in 1974, the centenary of the composer Josef Suk (1874- 1935), whose name the orchestra commemorates. Until the year 2000, the composer’s grandson, the violinist Josef Suk, was the artistic director of the orchestra.
The orchestra’s concert master, Martin Kos, has now taken over this demanding position. The Suk Chamber Orchestra performs mostly without a conductor, and its wide repertoire includes all styles from the baroque period to contemporary works. They have been representing the Czech lands in classical music throughout the world for the last thirty years. They have toured the USA and are regularly invited to Japan and China; after successful debuts in Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Peru, Ecuador) they have been invited back several times. They were the first Czech orchestra to visit the Philippines. In October and December 2008 they have been visiting Japan again and playing the concert in the world known Suntory Concert Hall in Tokyo.
Appearances at festivals at home and abroad, in particular the international Prague Spring Festival, are particularly important events for the Suk Chamber Orchestra. Since 1996 the orchestra has organized and presented a June concert series of chamber orchestra concerts under the title “Musical Jewels from Prague through Europe to the World.” Since 2008 is the orchestra presenting its own serial concert cycle.
The Suk Chamber Orchestra has made many recordings: thirty CDs have been released in the Czech Republic and many more by record companies abroad. The last CD, published in September 2008, is recording of Zdeněk Lukáš chamber music compositions.
Since 2002 the Suk Chamber Orchestra has held the Antonín Dvořák World Award in recognition of their work in promoting Czech music and performances in recordings and appearances in foreign countries.
