[How to purchase tickets]

*To order from the call center, you must be able to provide a mailing address in Japan or pick up the tickets at a convenience store in Japan.

*Anyone can order by e-mail by filling in the required items on the specified form.
*Credit card payment is required. Tickets will be picked up at the venue on the day of the performance. The same-day pick-up counter opens 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
*Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than processing this ticket order.

*Inquiries made on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, or during the summer or
winter business holidays, will be answered on or after the next business day.

Yoko Hasegawa (Cello)

Yoko Hasegawa is one of the leading cellists in Japan. She marks the 30th anniversary from her debut in 2017. She made her recital debut in 1987 at the Fresh Artists Series presented by Ongaku-No-Tomo-Sha, and concerto debut in 1988 with Japan Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ken-ichiro Kobayashi. She studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland and returned to Japan after graduating summa cum laude from the academy.
Yoko Hasegawa has performed with major orchestras of Japan and abroad including NHK Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sakari Oramo and Prague Symphony Orchestra conducted by Zdenek Macal. She also appears in TV and radio programs frequently. From April 15 to June this year, she was in charge of the music for Kiyomori Travel Story, which is broadcast at the end of NHK’s year-long period drama Taira no Kiyomori.

Yoko Hasegawa has released many recordings with Victor Entertainments. The latest CD, her own selection of best recordings Cellissimo is well-received.

She is the recipient of many awards including the Kirishima International Music Festival Award, the special prize of Rostropovitch International Cello Competition, the Shin-nittetsu (New Japan Stell) Fresh Artist Award, and the 9th Hideo Saito Memorial Fund Award. She is associate professor of Toho Gakuen College of Music.

Ken Nishikiori (tenor)

Ken Nishikiori graduated from Kunitachi College of Music and completed the fifth term at the Opera Studies Center.

He also studied in Milan and Vienna. He is a recipient of the 17th Giraud Opera New Artist Award, the 4th Global Atsuko Azuma Award, the 1st Gotoh Memorial Cultural Award’s New Artist Award, and the 6th Mobil Music Award for ‘Promising New Musician’ in the Western Classical Music Division. Since his debut performing Camille in The Merry Widow in 1986, Nishikiori has been highly acclaimed for his performances in operas, concerts of sacred music with orchestra, and recitals where he fascinates fans with his friendly talk as well.
He also appears in TV and radio programs.

Since 2002, he has been producing operas and recently carried out the 6th project with Mozart’s “Die Entf?hrung aus dem Serail” in February – March, 2015.
